Northeast Kansas Chapter Newsletter
Our newsletter is published every other month.
Regular meetings are held bi-monthly at 1 p.m., the second Sunday of the month in the basement of St. Joseph’s Church, at the corner of 3rd Street and Van Buren Street in Topeka. Guests are welcome. Potluck meal is at 1 p.m. with program at 2 p.m. Members are asked to bring a meat dish and a side dish.

We have a good collection of German-Russian books, maps, AHSGR Journals and Clues, some census records, videos and other genealogical resource books available to our membership. The Library is usually open at our Chapter meetings. Members may check out and return books at this time.

This Kansas State Historical Society site contains information on the four microfilms covering the St. Joseph’s Church books. These records where filmed in 2002. This site has a history of St. Joseph’s Church as well as an index of the books contained in the microfilms.
